This Privacy Policy explains how AssessmentPrepHub ("AssessmentPrepHub," "we," "us," or "our"), the operator of assessmentprephub.com, handles information when you visit the site, take a practice test, create an account, contact us, or purchase a digital product if paid products are offered.

This policy applies to AssessmentPrepHub services. It does not control an employer's assessment platform, an official test publisher, or a third-party website linked from our pages.

Information we collect

What we collect depends on how you use the site.

Information you provide

We may collect:

• Account information, such as your name, email address, password credentials in protected form, profile image, verification status, and account preferences.
• Communications, including the email address, message, and supporting details you send when requesting help, a correction, a privacy action, or a refund.
• Purchase information, such as the product, order reference, payment status, amount, currency, provider, and billing-related identifiers. Payment providers process payment-card or account credentials through their own checkout systems; we do not ask you to email full card details.
• Optional test follow-up information, such as an email address submitted to save or receive a result where that option is clearly presented.

Practice and report information

When you use an interactive practice experience, we may process or store information needed to run the session and create a report, including:

• practice-test type, session or attempt identifier, and question-set identifier;
• questions shown, answer selected, whether an answer changed, and whether it was correct, skipped, or timed out;
• question category and difficulty label;
• time spent on a question and total session timing;
• score, maximum score, category performance, and report or entitlement status;
• a browser or device session identifier used to preserve the attempt.

Practice data is used to operate the test, show progress, create the result, diagnose problems, and improve question quality. An AssessmentPrepHub result is not an official employer score.

Information collected automatically

Our servers and service providers may automatically receive:

• IP address and approximate location inferred from it;
• browser, operating system, device type, language, and user-agent information;
• referring page, pages viewed, links or controls used, timestamps, and diagnostic events;
• security and fraud-prevention signals;
• campaign or referral parameters, such as UTM source, when present.

How we use information

We use information for the following purposes:

Where a law requires a legal basis, that basis may be performance of a contract, our legitimate interest in operating and securing the service, consent, or compliance with law, depending on the activity and location.

Cookies, local storage, and analytics

AssessmentPrepHub may use cookies and similar browser storage for essential functions such as session continuity, authentication, preferences, security, and remembering a practice attempt.

If configured, we may also use analytics or experience-measurement services such as Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity to understand aggregate traffic and interaction patterns. These providers may receive device, usage, and network information under their own privacy terms. Where consent is legally required, optional analytics should be activated only after that choice is obtained.

You can control many cookies through your browser. Blocking essential storage may prevent sign-in, saved progress, checkout, or other features from working correctly.

When we disclose information

We may disclose the minimum information reasonably necessary to:

• hosting, database, security, analytics, and infrastructure providers;
• authentication and email-delivery providers;
• payment processors and transaction partners selected at checkout;
• professional advisers, auditors, or authorities when required to protect rights, investigate misuse, comply with law, or respond to valid legal process;
• a successor in connection with a merger, financing, reorganization, or sale, subject to appropriate safeguards.

These providers process information for defined services and may operate in other countries. We do not sell personal information for money. We also do not use practice results to make an employer's hiring decision.

Payment information

If paid products are offered, checkout may be provided by services such as Stripe, PayPal, or another provider named at checkout. The provider handles the payment credentials it requests. AssessmentPrepHub may receive and retain transaction identifiers, payer email, product, amount, currency, status, fraud signals, and webhook or refund records needed to fulfil the purchase and reconcile it.

The provider's privacy policy also applies to information it collects directly.

Data retention

We keep personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above, including providing an account or purchased access, maintaining security, resolving disputes, and satisfying accounting or legal requirements. Retention can vary by data type and legal obligation.

When information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete, de-identify, or aggregate it. Backup copies and transaction records may remain for a limited additional period or for as long as law requires.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures intended to protect information. No internet service can guarantee perfect security. Use a unique password, protect access to your email account, and contact us promptly if you suspect unauthorized account activity.

Your choices and privacy rights

Depending on where you live and which laws apply, you may have rights to:

• request access to or a copy of personal information;
• correct inaccurate information;
• request deletion, subject to legal and operational exceptions;
• object to or restrict certain processing;

We do not discriminate against you for exercising an applicable privacy right. To make a request, email support@assessmentprephub.com with the subject Privacy Request. We may need to verify your identity and authority before acting. Do not send passwords or full payment-card numbers.

You may unsubscribe from optional marketing emails using the link in the message. Essential account, security, purchase, and service messages may still be sent.

Children

AssessmentPrepHub is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child under 13 submitted personal information, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action. Users who are not legally able to enter a contract should use paid services only with authorization from a parent or legal guardian where required.

International use

AssessmentPrepHub and its providers may process information in countries other than your own. Privacy rules in those locations may differ. Where required, we use an appropriate legal mechanism or safeguard for a restricted international transfer.

Third-party links

Our guides may link to test publishers, research, employers, or other resources. Their services have separate privacy practices. Review the policy of a third party before giving it personal information.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when the service, providers, or legal requirements change. We will revise the date at the top. If a change materially affects how we use information, we will provide additional notice when reasonably required.
